In Thailand, the Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) is the primary organization to manage port and shipping activities. Established in 1951, the PAT is a state enterprise under the general supervision of the Ministry of Transport. As of now, it manages five ports, including Bangkok Port, Laem Chabang Port, Chiang Saen Commercial Port, Chiang Khong Port, and Ranong Port.
In order to reach a larger international audience, the PAT Marketing department asked Lentus to create an entirely new and conceptually distinct microsite, separate from PAT’s main website, that would serve as an informational gateway as well as the first point of contact for overseas businesses.
While PAT’s principal site serves a purpose for the local market, much of its content is only available in Thai, creating a language barrier for international entities looking to do business in Thailand. Accordingly, Lentus put our multi-lingual and multi-talented team of designers and web programmers on the job to ensure the new microsite was fully capable of meeting the highest international standards.
From start to finish, Lentus completed the entire Proof of Concept for the microsite in under six months, providing PAT Marketing with a one-stop entry portal while simultaneously elevating its image as an internationally-focused entity.
