DHL Global Forwarding is a division of Deutsche Post DHL that provides air and ocean freight forwarding services. It also plans and undertakes major logistics projects under DHL Industrial Projects.
In the last few years, startups have disrupted many industries and longstanding companies by embracing new ways of working using the latest technologies. As a result, many well-established firms began embracing the idea of disrupting themselves before competitors beat them to the post. Therefore, the management of DHL Global Forwarding challenged its staff to pitch ideas for new strategies or ways of working, and the winner(s) would receive seed money to implement their new idea for a company or service.
DHL Global Forwarding’s office in Bangkok engaged Lentus to help create the pitch for their idea of ‘Box in a Box’, which included a presentation, a new logo, and an animation to demonstrate the concept to the management in Berlin, Germany.
The concept for ‘Box in a Box’ received the green light and funding to develop a Minimum Viable Product and marketing campaign. The product’s name was changed to “EZY LCL” with a new logo and brand identity, which we also developed. Furthermore, Lentus helped DHL with a campaign targeting important markets in the Indian Subcontinent with various digital and print ads, animations, and articles used together with a website and social media channels.
